Short teaser video: this teaser video is the short IG sister to the longer form YouTube video I created for @sofiesworld (107K subscribers). Love how we didn’t give everything away in the thumbnail and intro so the viewer is more intrigued to find out what the Big Life Update is!
Repurposed short: I repurposed one of @allysheehan’s (207K subscribers) videos into a Short so viewers can get a taste of what to expect in her long-form video ‘The Anthology Deep Dive’, where she breaks down the song ‘The Black Dog’ by Taylor Swift.
Short introduction video: in this 1-minute Instagram Reel I give a brief introduction to what Silken Story can help you with. (Spoiler alert: it’s copywriting, script writing, and video editing, all disguised as a focaccia recipe.)
What I Eat In a Day: I edited this vlog for @jaclynforbes (350K subscribers). We focused mainly on the pacing and comedic timing of her storytelling, with fun zooms and montages of her recipe ideas. (Jaclyn edited the thumbnail for this video.)
Empty apartment tour: I edited this empty apartment walk-through and the accompanying thumbnail for @sofiesworld (107K subscribers). I kept engagement high by adding on-screen elements to distinguish between the different rooms, I sped up the walking parts, and added fun background music and a few cute text elements and ‘pops’. Can you find them? 😉
Postpartum vlog: I put together this vlog and the accompanying thumbnail for @stephaniehajal (3.5K subscribers). I’m especially proud of how the calm intro and J-cut seamlessly lead you into the ‘Day In The Life’ talking portion. I threw in a few fun text reveals and ‘text behind object’ effects too.
Chatty vlog: in this vlog I’m taking the viewer behind the scenes of my songwriting process. I tease the final result in the beginning of the video as a hook, then share my progress and the story behind how the song came to life. At the end of the video, I share the full playthrough of the song.
